A Caran d’Ache Pen Made From Nespresso Capsules Is “Something To Write About”

Earlier this year, Nespresso collaborated with a Swedish lifestyle bike brand Vélosophy to produce a stylish bicycle made from recycled aluminum coffee capsules. That was not the first time the company has collaborated with a company to produce a high quality, well-designed product using recycled coffee capsules. Last year it joined forces with the Swiss writing and drawing instruments company Caran d’Ache to produce a gorgeous pen out of the capsules.

They want to show the world that upcycling can result in a very classy, desirable item. Now, they’ve completed another project, again with Caran d’Ache, to produce a second limited edition pen, of course, out of recycled coffee capsules. All these products are a perfect balance of sustainability and style, designed to illustrate the potential of recyclable aluminum and motivate Nespresso fans to recycle their capsules.
