Over the past 15 years, tourism in Iceland has grown considerably. Exploding from about 600,000 foreign visitors a year in 2000 to 4.4 million in 2014, the industry shows no signs of slowing down. Iceland's picturesque landscape is irresistible, particularly for photographers.

From icy glaciers and the Northern Lights to stunning waterfalls and wildlife, Iceland is on the bucket list of most nature lovers. Professional photographer Albert Dros, who also leads photography tours in Iceland, shares some of his most memorable photographs of the Nordic island.
