Fire conditions in the Northern Cape continue, with little prospects of rain

The South African Weather Service has warned again of extremely high fire danger condition expected over the northern and central parts of the Northern Cape.

This while the notorious Southeaster will be blowing along the West Coast at 30km/h in the dry conditions.

While there are prospects for rain, the Northern Cape fire danger area is not on the receiving end of this.

A 30% chance of rain has been forecast over the North West province, Gauteng, the Free State, southernmost parts of the Eastern Cape along with the central and southeastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

Temperatures in the country will be hot on Thursday, 3 March.
